They are stamped on every package of food you buy. Not only does this label show you the nutritiousness of the food, but also malnutrition information. For $100 or so, companies can analyze food samples to determine the calories, fat, sugar, salt, and vitamins contained in a single serving.
Why not take equivalent effort to place similar facts on your website for what you are advertising?
If you are selling a product or a service, price is important. So are the specifications, parameters, and other fundamental information to turn web viewers into customers.
Selling music? Tell your inquiring readers in what format they can access the music (e.g., CD, MD, limited or unlimited download, etc.). Does the purchase include cover art or liner notes?
Renting a timeshare? Describe amenities, like laundry, iron and ironing board, WiFi access, pet-friendly (type, size, and number of pets allowed), number of bedrooms, maximum number of guests.
This additional effort will help your visitors make informed decisions about the product or service you provide. If their questions are not answered, they will go to someone else who will give them the information.
